Truly 'Dia Ris' God

I'm also guilty.
I think there is no better way to start this write up than the first three words above, I remember just a few weeks ago when the first lady of our beloved country had a meeting with some representatives of the Government Secondary School in Chibok and then she made some statements which got a lot of people in every corner of the country to show their dental formula which includes me.
But when I was in church last week and we were about to pray for our beloved country when my attention was drawn to the fact that she is the only person who had actually come out publicly to declare that "There is God".
Truly there is God in the situation of Nigeria because some nations didn't even the challenges this nation is going through at the moment before there were in a state of disarray or even no more, the results are all around us today.
Like the book of 1 Timothy 2:1-2 says "I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, [and] giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and [for] all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty". I know what a you will be thinking at this point, 'all this people and their prayers' will prayers really solve Nigeria's problem but the Bible in 2 Corinthians 10:4 For the weapons of our warfare [are] not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds. If prayer doesn't solve the problem, the cheap talk, back biting and the hash tags alone also won’t solve the problem either, 1 Corinthians 1:27 says " God chose the foolish/weak things of this world to shame the wise". As a matter of fact prayer is one unique factor that has still be speaking for this country till this very moment.

Folks, this country hasn't face the challenges she is experiencing at this present moment but we all can do more than more for her in the place of positive declarations, good deeds, acts and also show a little more respect to the president.
